International Students and some new friends gathered to celebrate the first week of school at the beautiful Willingdon Beach.

Around 1000 students gathered for an orientation and welcoming assembly!

Over 70 new International students joined us at Brooks for orientation, and the first days of the school year! We have representation from over a dozen countries, so far!

We went to Top Out Climbing Co-op to try our luck on the walls and ropes!

We took some of the new students to explore the local lookout, Mount Valentine.

Students learnt the Canadian Ukrainian Spring Egg decorating tradition, Pysanky.

We took some of the kids on a walk around our lovely campus, and the nearby nature trails. Later on, we had a School Dance!

We were thrilled to have 9 new students join us at Brooks today! Check out what we did to orient the new students to the gorgeous qathet region!

Over the break, students could go Vancouver Island for another great chance to go skiing! The slopes were excellent, and we had and amazing time together!

We spent the morning hiking the lovely local lookout!

We took a stroll down Marine Avenue to admire and understand the interesting War-Era ships filled with concrete, floating in the Historic Townsite.

As experienced veterans on the ice, the International kids played with Mr. Miller’s kids. It was a great time!

We took to the Powell River Kings rink and had ourselves a cool time!
